It’s mid-October, which means the valley is in prime season for climbing. But we couldn’t help but feel the pull to go on one last alpine romp up our agreed-upon favorite formation in the world. Feeling the cold air freshen our lungs, and enjoying the warmth of sun-drenched rock, we danced up Cathedral Peak and said a ceremonial goodbye to Tuolumne until next year.
